The CDMA Certification Forum

in order to explain what information we gather from you on
our web site (www.globalccf.org), how we
use that information, and with whom we share it. The CDMA
Certification Forum (referred to below as "CCF,"
"we," "our"
and "us"), is a not-for-profit
organization organized under the laws of the State of California,
U.S.A., with a business office at [ ], U.S.A. Your use of
our web site means that you accept and are legally bound by
this Privacy Statement and our separate Terms
of Use. If you do not wish to accept our Privacy Statement
and/or our Terms of Use, you must not submit any information
to us and you must leave this web site immediately.
What information is collected
When you register with our site, we will ask you for your
name, job title, and company or organization's name, and your
business address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail
address. This information is your "contact information."
If you are registering for an event, paying membership fees,
making a contribution, or placing any order through our site,
we will also require additional financial and billing information
(such as credit card information, billing and delivery addresses,
etc.). This type of information is your "financial
information." Forms requiring your financial
information are encrypted. When you visit our site, some information
such as your Internet or IP address, Internet Service Provider,
the site or most recent sites that you visited prior to arriving
at our site, and the time and date of your visit, may be collected
automatically as part of the operation of the site. Once collected,
this information (which we call "aggregate information")
is not linked to your personally identifiable information
such as your contact or financial information.
How your information is used
Contact Information. We use your contact information
to send you information about our organization and its activities,
upcoming events, and to communicate with you concerning events
for which you have registered or other requests that you have
submitted to us. We share your contact information with third
parties whose activities, services, or products may interest
our visitors. If you do not want us to share your contact
information with any third parties, please indicate your preference
by checking the appropriate box on the form that you use to
submit your information, or contact us at any time at privacy@globalccf.org.
Financial Information. We use your financial information
only to complete the registration, donation or other transaction
for which you have submitted your financial information. We
may store your financial information for archival purposes
or to comply with any legal data retention requirements that
may apply. Your financial information is processed and stored
using industry-standard encryption and security measures.
We will not share your financial information with any third
party other than our current third party credit card processing
service provider.
Aggregate Information. Aggregate information is
used to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer
our web site. This information may also be used to compile
aggregate statistics about the number of visitors to our site
and how visitors use our site, so that we can improve our
web site.
Cookies. Our web site may use "cookies"
to store and obtain certain information relevant to your use
of our site, such as your password and site preferences. A
cookie is a small data text file, which our site places on
your computer’s hard drive (if your web browser permits)
that can later be retrieved to identify you to us. Cookies

Children under age thirteen
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act took effect
on April 21, 2000, and imposes certain requirements on web
sites. You understand and acknowledge that our site is not
directed toward children under age 13, nor does our site attempt
to ascertain the age of our users. You hereby certify that
you are at least 13 years old. It is our policy not to collect
and maintain personal information from any person under age
13. If we learn that we have inadvertently gathered and maintained

we shall make reasonable efforts to notify such child’s
